Due to the National Burial Index - 2nd edition we may have found an elusive ancestor. My 5g grandfather Thomas Gilchrist married in 1821 in Weedon Beck, Northamptonshire. He had three children the last being born in 1826 (Weedon Beck). In 1831 my 5g grandmother remarried (Weedon Beck). There was no sign of his death or burial locally. The NBI has a Thomas Gilchrist buried at St Dunstan in the West, City of London 14th November 1829 aged 48. Could this be him?Would anyone have access to the burial register and be able to look to see if there is any other info available on him please. We also have no idea where he came from prior to him being in Weedon serving in the RFA. The one listed at TNA is, we believe, not him as the dates do not match. TIA Sandra
