Thank you again, Nanny Jan. Looked at the Colehill info, and it wasn't a Parish until the late 1800's.
Would the children have been Baptised in the Minster? Mary Ann (c 1827) was my gggrandmother.

Thank you Nanny Jan. I wonder if the family might have been living at Colehill.

Dorset / Christening Places?

Wonder if somebody can help me, please.   Family Search has Christening records for Elizabeth Scott (4 May 1823) and her sister Mary Ann (29 July 1827) in Colehill.  It also has another record for  the same girls, same date but the place is Wimbourne Minster. Can anybody explain this for me, please.

United States of America / Re: Healy Family

Thank you for your reply. Knort33. Sadly we have no details of these siblings of my great grandfather. They were probably born before 1845, but we don't know for sure. Their parents were Nicholas Healy and Mary Hogan and they came from County Clare. We don't even know how many went to U S. As I said, a long shot, but thought it worth the try.
Thank you for taking  an interest.

United States of America / Healy Family

I am looking for any descendants of Nicholas Healy and Mary nee Hogan. They were from County Clare Ireland. Four of their children, Mary, Ann, Denis and Daniel, migrated to Australia. We believe some went to America. This could have been sometime in the 1860's. I know this is a bit of a long shot, but I am hoping somebody may know something.
                                    Regards to all

Hello Polly Lynn, thanks for getting in touch with me. This John Pollock died 1832 aged 19. I don't know if he was married. Are your Pollocks  the same line? Alexander Pollock and Elizabeth Caddon / Mcadam?
