Wow wee, this has been some search for me, lol, you would not believe it until you had seen the comings and goings of this family of Clarks, out of an Edwards Clan, (which I think), starts in Lincoln.
Yes Henry Clark and Mary Anderson had 4 children, the last pair, where given very odd middle names, and can be found in the Sheffield Council BDM's site.
If you follow back a bit you will find you had a Great Gran by the name of Elizabeth Edwards, whos father was out of Peterborough.
This is so thrilling, and after such a long time Thanks for getting back to me.

Have never found out much about them but Hilary and Tim Clark  are my second cousins!  Anthony Henry Clark definitely married Margaret Walton Hadfield in 1935.

I only have two children for Herbert Henry Clark and Mary Anderson so four children is news to me.  I have another second cousin who might be able to fill in some blanks if I ask.  What do we really want to know now?

Barbara Adelaide was born in Totley which was Derbyshire in those days.

Hi, just going to add a couple of names to this growing list.
George CYPRAIN Clark b1911 d2001
Barbara Adelaide Clark b1909 Think she never mrd, d1990 South Bucks.
Mary Veronica Clark b1917 - Unsure what happened to this girl!

Have got a Timothy R. Clark b1938 marrying a Barbara J. Crowder, b1938 Rotherham.
They had 3 children, two from Rotherham,
and one at Sheffield. Thanks to the (Sheffield Council's BDM's), (can't post there names this site does not allow it!)
But the story gets very cold from here on, any help please!

Thanks Suz,
Think I have now found one other Anthony's children, a Timothy R. Clark b Sheffield 1938, he had a sister Hilary M. b1936 Sheffield, Tony married, Barbara J. Crowder, and have traced his family via Ancestry BDM's
Hilary M. Clark marriage is a much harder nut to crack.

George Cyprian Clark b 1911-2001, Mary Veronica b1917-2010. both born at Ecclesall Bierlow.
Regards.

Help, trying to find the above, his father a Henry Herbert Clark, had married a Mary Anderson in 1907, as a traveling sales man. That took some doing!
They had 4 children, Tony, George C. Barbara A.M. and Mary Vi. b 1917.
Love to know what happened to them all.
Thanks for looking.

According to the Commonwealth war-graves site her maiden name was Leaver

http://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/2057719/
Thanks for that, someone with a 'Find my past' membership, has found all of the family living in Genoa, Italy, sadly no marriage certificate, but documents I have gathered, refers to Olga Leaver's as an Italian lady.

Sadly when revisiting this topic, have found this web site no longer there?
http://www.driffield.org.uk/harrygladstonemillner.html.

Did manage to trace their children, neither married, and lived at Cardiff.

Also a little confused over her surname, told from a newspaper cutting of her death, and it gave her age, and place of birth, but can't find out her surname.
Yes have tried to find it via the birth of her son Harry, and her marriage to Capt. Millner, still in hope.

Regards.

Yes so do I, but tracing his father appears to be somewhat harder than his son Robert.
As you can tell Charles was a bit of a rogue!
So doubt he would post his children's births in the Times?
And finding out what went on in Ireland around 1810's is equally as hard.
So here's hoping that Manchester Police Museum might know a thing or to?

Have recovered some of the details off the 1851 (burnt) census, and there Robert says he was born in Ireland. Unable to trace his 41 census, so the only hope of finding out where he said he was; is by looking up the 1851 Schedules, via either the Records held in Lancs, or maybe the Police Museum in Manchester?
As this page details all the serving policemen stationed at Pendleton, I think it quite important, so maybe the museum should have copies off?
Cheers.
one Richard Hale Durie (b Scotland 1814), who also cant be found in the 1861 census???

Robert Durie and family are in Wales in 1861
