Nathan Evans retired as an air force retired c. 1977 ranked Captain/Major in Cape Town
I know at one time he was Lieutenant Nathan Evans SAAF (Stores Officer). According to his daughter in 1945 he was in charge of Congella Air force squadron in Durban. This was 35 Squadron. I have a general history about this squadron. Unfortunatley the information from his daughter is scant and I am not sure how reliable, In one conversation she says her father was a Major, in another he was a Captain. There is no information on the NAAIRS. I have not had much luck on the SAAF site either.
