Surrey / George Duffin
« on: Sunday 28 May 17 15:33 BST (UK)  »
I'm trying to find the marriage of George Duffin and his wife Harriett.

George was born or baptised  in Lambeth on the 12/12/1797 all his working life he is a jeweller or Goldsmith.

In the 1841 census 1084 33 12 he is age 40 and has children age 20 down to 10 but Harriett is not on this census.

In the 1851 census 1564 73 5 he is age 54 Harriett is 39 which must be wrong and she is born in Brigh? Warwickshire.

George's middle name maybe Wharton or Warton.

George dies in 1879 age 81.

Would anyone be able to tell me the details of George and Harriett's marriage.

Devon / Marriage of John Rippon and his wife Elizabeth
« on: Tuesday 23 May 17 21:18 BST (UK)  »
I'm trying to find the marriage of John Rippon born about 1784 and his wife Elizabeth born about 1781 the only details I have is that in the 1841 census they are living with their daughter Elizabeth and son in law Charles Bellman in St Pancras London Ho107 piece 685 folio 19 page 32.

In the 1851 Ho 107 1496 937 24 Elizabeth Bellman states that she was born in 1809 in Wigan so I'm hoping that John Rippon and Elizabeth's marriage may have been in Lancashire.

Charles Hutchings Bellman was born in Devon about 1807, he and Elizabeth Rippon marry in Plymouth on the 19/5/1828.

London and Middlesex / Ada Beatrice Aylott. And Harry Palfrey
« on: Saturday 06 May 17 13:53 BST (UK)  »
Ada Beatrice Aylott was born in Paddington in 1885, I found her with her widowed mother Louisa in the 1891 census Rg12 6 43 77 with a James Monk and his family.

In the 1901 census Rg13 6 57 4 she is with her mother but Ada's name is now Lillian.

In1901 Ada marries William Williams in Holborn I am told they have a number of children George, Arthur, Caroline, William, Harry, Robert and Edward at some stage the two eidest boys go to Canada under Dr. Barnados.

I'm not sure if William is killed in World War 1 or they divorce but Ada then marries Harry Palfrey in 1918 in West Ham, they have three children a boy who dies at birth Irene and Violet.

I found a death for Ada 11/5/1941 in Wanstead age 59.
I found a death for a Henry Palfrey in 1938 in East Ham age 58 but because I have no other details on Harry I'm not sure if this is the correct person.

Would anyone be able to give me more information on Ada and Harry.
