Could I have a lookup for a marridge between Thomas Fisher and Hannah Gearing about 1847 ish I believe. Berkshire, maybe newbury? compton? Thanks

Can't find on  51 - 61 census as married couple.

Found George James Baker'sparents I believe so constrating on George Pettet's parents at the moment.. George James Baker married Edith pettet..george and frances pettets daughter.  So many Georges..!!! GJBaker Parents i believe are William F Baker and Izabella Taylor..

So to conclude
George Pettet married Frances Agusta Rigby born in 1859  Monmouth wales married in what I thought was 1882 in southwark..her parents were Frank Dixen Elias and Amelia Mary Elias, both from Monmouth.Confirmed wales connectiom
George Pettet is belived to have been born in Littleport or Ely cambs, Could be 1850's or 60's.?
Their daughters were indeed Eleanor and Edith and a son George confirmed..maybe more but heard of no other names mentioned..He must have moved to southwark for work in printing trade.Which is how their Daughter Edith Pettet met her husband George James Baker also a printer and lived in Islington..

so as you say G pettets parents more than likely James and Emma..

Sorry pc crashed as we had a power cut last night and could not get back on to clear a few things up!

Firstly...Not sure if his middle name was James has just been suggested by Aunt,
However do believe it is the first George posted by heywood, as certainly he had a daughter Eleana and Edith also a son George, this I found also, so have been working with him. originally started with Edith Pettet..and working back.!
Found his wife's name ( Ediths motherwas Frances Agusta Rigby and her Fathers name was George also so assumed I had the right marrige found on mbd..
All the family were in the printing trade as they are still to this day..so seemed to add up, still in London but Brixham area till the 70's
So now need to trace the parents of both george and Frances, the latter i think I have found with the help in the wales lookup, her parents being Amelia and Franks dixon Elias..(if correct frances) two weddings I am also confused??? now! Hope this helps...This family is a nightmare!!!

info from family member, also "camdex" cambridge lookup  shows a birth of george pettet same year..!1851

married Frances in 1882, found it under her name not georges...Rigby..
