Would anyone able to view the 1891 census be able to search for someone aboard the Royal Navy vessell 'Britannia'.
The person I am interested in is transcribed by ancestry as
Robert M G Knight age 15 born in Glamorgan.

the ref. is Rg12/1710 folio 192 page 9

My query being:- is there a possibility that the original document could be read as
Robert CHIDGEY (or a variation of that surname)?

I have been unable to find Robert Chidgey with his family on this census, however, he was in the navy for quite a few years.

Technical Help / HELP - what have I done?

This is probably my own ignorance or I have clicked on something I shouldn't have, but please could someone help.

When I log into Rootschat all is well, until I click into Monmouthshire, Radnorshire or Wales(General), or 'show new replies to your posts' - then everything says it is Wednesday 18 October at 0600.
These pages are the ones I frequently view, however, anything posted after Wednesday is not appearing.

Can anyone tell me what I have done and of course how to bring me back to today!!!

Elizabeth Jane Clark(e) on either the 1871 or 1891 census.
Her date of birth is 1864/5 and on the 1881 census she gives her place of birth as Blaina, Monmouthshire.

Would anyone be able to look for a marriage for me. I have the date, place, and names but would be interested to find out their ages, the names of the fathers, witnesses, etc.

the details I have are

11th August 1834 at Bedwellty
John Morgan and Hannah Thomas.

If anyone is visiting the Records Office and would be able to spare the time to look this up for me I would be grateful.

They should be together, possibly with other family members, I had thought I had this information but seem to have either overlooked it, or misplaced it

Hello,

Would anyone be able to help me to locate a record of birth?

The 1881 census suggests the birth to be 1875/6 in Treorchy, I presume this to be in the Pontyridd district, but am unable to locate a ref. -

the name being:-

Albert CHIDGEY - I know the parents were not married at the time of his birth, so I suppose they possibly did not register him?!?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
