Kent Completed Lookup Requests / John Woolfe Census look-up please.

I am searching for John Woolfe and his wife Eliza from the Malling area. My great grandmother was Jane Elizabeth Woolfe (his daughter), born1860 at Borough Green. Her father is listed as John and mother Eliza in the IGI list.
Could someone please look them up on the 1871 Census for me? I have them in 1861 at Ightham - John, Eliza, with children Eliza 8, John 5, Harriet 4 and Jane 2.
I would really appreciate any help with this one.

Armed Forces / 76th Regiment 1870's

I have just discovered my g-grandfather was a lance corporal in the 76th regiment. This is all the info I have which is from his marriage certificate.
The ceremony was in 1877 and his place of residence is given as Brompton. He was definitely a civilian in the 1881 census. There was no trace of him on the 1871.

The name I'm looking for is Thomas Isaac Hedges, born 1853 in Abingdon, and I have found him on the 1861 with his family in West St Helen, Abingdon.

Can anyone tell me where I can find out when he enlisted and was discharged, is there a site for army information like that?

Census Lookup and Resource Requests / 1891 Census lookup please, Breadmore.

Hi, I'm searching for info in 1891 on Sarah Jane Breadmore, born 1860, in Stockbridge, Hampshire.
I have just discovered that she was my grandfather's first wife. I have details of their marriage (in 1893) , and her death in 1895.
In 1881 she is shown at home with her parents and a brother in Stockbridge.
In 1891 I have found (a great rootschatter did actually), my grandfather, Owen Joseph Cole in Stockbridge in her brother's household. So far I have not been able to find Sarah Jane.
So, am hoping one of the rootschat folk will be able to help me with this.

Census Lookup and Resource Requests / Look ups please on 1871 census, Hedges

Could someone please look up Thomas Hedges, born 1853, Abingdon, Berks on the 1871 census? I am also looking for Jane Elizabeth Woolfe/Wolfe/Wolf born 1859 in Malling, Kent.
They were married in 1877 and appear on subsequent cenuses. I think I have Thomas as a child on the 1861.
It is the 1871 which is giving me trouble.

At a loss with my g-grandfather and he may have done this, hazy family memory thinks so.

Dorset Lookup Requests / 1881Census puzzle.

I am looking for Thomas Edward Cole in 1881. On the 1871 he is shown as being in Houghton, Southampton with his wife, Anna, and children Owen 10, Austin 7 and Elizabeth 5.
They are all born in Dorset. I have found Anna in 1881 as a visitor in Gillingham at the home of the Hayter family.
Thomas and their children (Owen is my grandfather) seem to have eluded the census!
Could someone please find the time to look into this for me?

Australia / Passengers to Fremantle - look up please

I am looking for details of arriving passengers in Fremantle from England around the turn of the century. Definitely in WA in 1901 as the marriage is down as December, 1901 but have the feeling the family had not long been in Australia before that.
I am looking for Margaret Elizabeth Jones who travelled with her parents John Griffith Jones and Nell Jones.
Also on board was her fiance, John Thomas Hedges.
Both Margaret and John were born about 1878.
I have no idea which port they sailed from but the only certainty is they disembarked at Fremantle. I would like to know the name of the ship.

Oxfordshire Lookup Requests / Marriage Look-up please.

I'm hoping someone can help with a marriage look-up please. My great grandfather Thomas L Hedges - born around 1852 in Abingdon and wife Jane E about 1860.
They are shown on the 1881 census living in Kingston on Thames, Surrey.
Their eldest child was born in 1878 so that is a starting point maybe?
I'm pretty sure the family came from Oxfordshire.
I'd be very grateful if a kind soul could trace this for me.

Derbyshire Lookup Requests / Census look-ups please Widdowson family

I have a query on Thomas Widdowson and his wife Martha.
I have found them on the 1861 census living in Sheffield, Brightside Bierlow, but Thomas was born in Chesterfield and Martha in Barlow.
I'm hoping someone can look up the 1851 census for these two as I think they were married then. It looks like Martha was married previously because a 'son-in-law' is listed in 1861.
There seems to be a large family of Widdowson's in Derbys, especially around Barlow but I'm not sure if I have the right Martha And Thomas, although their daughter Martha fits in to my tree with her age etc, and she is listed as born in Barlow.
I would appreciate a look up on this and maybe anything on Thomas in 1841?
