Because the info I have does not tell me who his mother is!!

She is Mary somebody, that's all I know.

Possible that Hannah dies 1909 - September quarter - Burnley RD - aged 89.  No sign of a will.

Colne deaths were usually registered in Burnley.  I have his date of death given to me by another roots chat member.


and the nearest death registration which might fit him.  ???

I will when I find it :).

The probate calendar clearly states John died on 20 August 1895 and probate was granted on 29 that year to two of his sons.

Yes, I know.

They match and I have John on the census from 1851 to 1881,
