I'd like to add my thanks to Gerry's - these are all fabulous!

The accordian player was my grandfather, and like Mudge's Uncle Wally was quite a character.  In fact, he was the life and soul of the family.  He died over twenty five years ago, but we still miss him dearly.

Mudge,  I was really touched by your dedication of this to your Uncle Wally, and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Thanks so much for that Haliared - it gives me something to go on. 

I tried to find her marriage on Scotland's People ( the McGovern she married was Scottish) but as I couldn't find it there, I thought she might have been married on the IOM.

I'll keep trying to see if I can find out any more information.
