I am looking for any info on a Ernest Mainwaring Swinnerton born 12 Sep 1892 Leichardt, New South Wales.
Ernest married a Alma Wilson 1925 St Judes Church , Randwick. Interested if they had any children.

Hi all,

I am searching for a Ephraim Swinnerton. I know that he was born 19 Dec 1837 Wombridge Shropshire. He married Mary Anne Williams 19 Nov 1860 Tipton Staffordshire. they had two known children Elizabeth and William.

I then find him as a prisoner in Dorset for vagrancy in 1877.
But after that he disappears.
Can any of you see him anywhere? he could be under one of the many variants of the Swinnerton spellings.

Hi ,
I am looking for any more information for a James Francis Byrne.
James I am told was born in New York. His WW1 draft registration gives his date of birth as 29 May 1881. His wife's name is Helen. We think she was Helen Hicks possible marriage 1912 but not confirmed.
I can see them in the 1920 census but nothing else.
can anyone see them anywhere?

Hello,

I have found a David Swinnterton (wrong spelling) on the Veterans Index.

He was born 11 Feb 1895 Cambridge, Mass
And died 15 Oct 1918.
Can anyone see anything more about his Military service, or cause of his death?

Lancashire / Missing in 1871 Census

Hi ,
I am looking for the 1871 census for a Frederick Swinnerton born 4 June 1843 High Offley.
Died Dec 1905 Liverpool. Frederick married the second time in 1870 Liverpool to Jane Ellams.
Their child Thomas was born Nov 1871 Liverpool.
So I am assuming that he was in Liverpool in 1871 when the census was taken. So it could be under one of those strange spellings of Swinnerton.

Can anyone see it?

Denbighshire / place name

Hi guys,

I am looking for a place name which shows up in the registers in the Oswestry area .
Pentre Poeth its called and I suspect it was or is a hamlet between Oswestry and Wrexham.
I can find the name in other areas of Wales but not this one.
Anyone seen this before?

Staffordshire / Swinnerton birth

Hi,

According to the 1881 Census a William Swinnerton was living with his family at Johnson's Square Stoke on Trent. His birth year is given as 1847 and place Leek Staffordshire.
As the GRO indexes have been checked and all Williams accounted for up to 1849. I wonder if he
is registered under a different Swinnerton spelling which happened a lot.
Can anyone see this William ?

Gloucestershire / Help Please - Margaret Swinnerton and John Thatcher, Bishopstowe

Hi,
Can anyone help?

I have been told that a marriage between Margaret Swinnerton and John Thatcher of Bishopstowe
Margaret was the daughter of John Swinnerton baptised at Tetbury 1st July 1715 but where did this marriage take place?

Likewise I am trying to verify that John and George Swinnerton were the sons of Antipas Swinnerton
in and about the same time frame.
