I am just up the road from Wendling if you want any pictures taken.

I also run a norfolk-tours holiday business if you ever want to visit.

Sadly, the site has been closed down due to MSN stopping their service.

I can still offer the same service, along with many other services, to find out more, please go to my website;

http://norfolktours.webs.com/

which gives all details.

Thanks.

If you need a personal guide while you are in Norfolk, have a look at:

http://www.norfolktours.webs.com/

a local guide to show you around the County. Your own personal driver, picking you up from anywhere and taking you where you want to go, as well as a commentary on where you are going, places you pass through and guided tours of where you stop off at.

Just what the family history tourist always wanted.

Hi Trish

How are you getting on?  I think your best bet would be the NRO and Archant.  NRO is the repository for archives in Norfolk and Archant took over the local newspaper and could tell you where their older copies can be consulted.  I know the Dereham copies are with the Dereham Antiquarian Society but I don't know if the Fakenham ones are still in the town.

Good luck.
