Hi Don
I had been to the Scotlands People website - but you have to pay to view. Even the Free Search Record of the Will  costs money to view.

I am researching all the 227 War Graves in Durrington Cemetery, Wiltshire - so purchasing information is not an option. If he was related to my family then yes I would purchase the information.

Does anyone had a subscription to Scotland's People that would be willing to send me a copy of the Will please & anything else that is available.
Will PM you Don

Many thanks
Cathy

Hello
I am emailing from Australia & I am researching Pte George Mole, service number 14620742, of The King's Own Scottish Borderers Airborne,  who was killed in a Glider crash on 4th April, 1944 at Warnford, Hampshire. All occupants of the Glider died (26).

I have a photo of his headstone in Durrington Cemetery, Wiltshire.

I am trying to find details of his birth - CWGC lists him as the son of William Frederick and Janet Campbell Berry Mole, of Glasgow.

Any other information would also be appreciated

Thank you
Cathy

HI Malky
I will pass this on to the person who was originally researching this - I was doing the search on their behalf as they were going away for a few weeks.

Thanks for your help

Oh thank you very much Malky - the book must have been taken to reply to my email I sent.

I have received a reply:
according to our records his cremated remains were dispersed within the Gardens of Rest at Kaimhill Crematorium .  Sorry I can find no trace of a plaque.

Thank you everyone for your assistance in this.
Appreciate all your help - some have gone above & beyond  - Malky  ;D

For those that are following this thread - just received a copy of the funeral notice from Aberdeen City Library :

Lieut. Col - Alexander Peter Imlay, D.S.O. was cremated on Monday April, 27.

So now I guess I will contact the Crematorium to see of there is a plaque.

Hello
I am emailing from Australia & I am trying to find photos of the names on the War Memorial in Wellington Park, Somerset.

I am trying to find out if Private Alfred James Darch - 87276, Royal Army Medical Corps who died on 25th November, 1916 is named on the War Memorial.

I am also trying to locate a photo showing his name, if it is indeed on there.

Many thanks
