Thank you Jamjar.

I thought D. Jamieson would have been listed as he was employed by the Western Australia Government Railway at Midland Junction.

Hi
I am researching a WW1 Soldier that died & may be named on the Midland Railway Workshops Soldiers Memorial, Western Australia but all the photos I can find only show some of the panels.

I am trying to see of D. Jamieson, who was a locomotive fireman, is named on the Memorial & if so where I might find a photo showing his name ?

I do research for this website. http://ww1austburialsuk.weebly.com/
Hope someone can point me in the right direction

thank you - Cathy

Thank you Ady.
I was doing some more research yesterday & found that someone had posted something similar. Now that you have confirmed it - I will leave it as the photo of the Memorial with the names.
Thank you

Thanks for the suggestions but with almost 2,500 biographies to do - didn't want to purchase photos - it could get expensive.

I will try the request a photo from Find a Grave - but have seen requests on there go unanswered for years.

Was hoping that someone that lived nearby to the cemetery could take a photo of a WW1 AUstralian soldier

Kind regards

Hi
I am from Australia & researching as many Australia Soldiers as possible from WW1 who died and are buried in the UK for this website   http://ww1austburialsuk.weebly.com/

I am currently researching Pte Ernest Augustus Mowbray Michael who was buried in Morton Cemetery & was wondering if someone could take  a photo of his headstone please ? I have a photo of his name on the Memorial but not his headstone.

Many thanks
Cathy

Monica - I was hoping to find the exact year of birth - which you have given me - so thank you.
Oops that should have been thank you to Annette :o

I did a search on George Mole for 1926-1926 & came up with zero results but doing a search in 1925-1925 comes up with a match. I am happy with that result.

Am I not going to purchase a certificate - if it was for my personal family history tree then yes but George Mole is one of 227 War Graves that I am researching - so the year of birth will have to be enough.
Thanks for all your help

Thank for everyone's input.

Monica - I was hoping to find the exact year of birth - which you have given me - so thank you.

I was also after his mother's maiden name - the CWGC has he was the son of William Frederick and Janet Campbell Berry Mole, of Glasgow. I wasn't sure if Berry was his mother's maiden name.

Thank for all the information
