She may have sailed to Canada. There is listing in Canadian Passenger Lists, 1865-1935, as Alice Lindsay.
I dont have access to the detail.

I've had a look at the old maps, and Lemlair and Clyne Bridge are neighbouring properties, however the script does not look like that.

This is an extract from a 1727 marriage in Kiltearn, Ross and Cromarty.
Help please, filling in the missing script and correcting, where I'm wrong.
I read it as.....

Contracted George Ross in Lemlair & Katherin Munro alias Nicean Viconil
------- , ---- bridegroom found William Balloch in – Clair &  --- Bridge, Robert Munro
Alias Mc - - rchain in Pollock.
