Thanks for your thoughts everyone, I am not sure when he was born, about 1640 I think, which would make him quite an old man for those times.

I am trying to decipher the last word in the line of a burial entry for Robert Hannam.

I have underlined the word, it looks like it reads Robert Hannam of K-r- but not being familiar with Dorset I was looking for help please. (It is a snip from Gillingham burial reg)

Thanks

Hi Honeymoon
You are correct the Vincent that I was looking for at the time  was the one that married Philadelphia Jacob on 3rd Sept 1787 at St James the Less, Thorndike Street, Middlesex.
The only Vincent Hannam that can close to his DOB was a Vincent Hanham b 1761 Bap 20 Nov 1761 at Mere in Wiltshire which I have not pursued.

Hello and welcome to RootsChat
I am afraid that i have not got a lot further with this line, the only other info that I have is that William b 1739, his parents might be William b 1720 and Susannah b 1720, but, as yet I have not found any proof either way.

Regards  Steve

It could have been a seat on the board, but I have never heard it mentioned in the family, it is worth asking some of them though.

Thanks for the suggestion
