i am tracing the Newitts  from Long Buckby. my two grandchildren are decended from John Newitt 1796-1875 and his wife Ann Cullop 1812-1852  through their son Alfred Newitt 1826-1899 and his wife Rachel Tew 1823-1889 this line of the family came to Wolverhampton .

Thank you all for your help James Rolston is my 2xgreat grandfather I had found his father on family search on the 1841 census where it gave his birth as between 1795-1799 so 1800 would be right it doesn't give much information on family search you have to go to find my past which I don't have . Once again thank you all for your help it is very much appreciated. Thank you

Hello I am looking for The baptism of James Rolston born in Newall about 1821 I have looked and can find nothing he isn't in the 1841 census either . He married Mary Ann Lomas in Buxton in 1851 in later censuses he is living in Walsall . Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

Hello can any one point me in the right direction for local history for Lark Hill Kiddermnster. My 2 x great grandparents lived there in 1861  on the 1861 census my 2xgreat grand father ( Thomas Oliver ) lived there with his wife Margery Hannah and his two daughters . Any help would be most welcome.
