Hi Dena & Maddys52,

Thank you for your messages, and I can indeed confirm that I am related to the Howdens.

My great great grandfather was John Howden, who died aged 45 in 1914. John Howden married Lydia O'Brien and they had many children, one of whom was my great grandmother Sarah May Moore (nee Howden).

Nice to hear that you also connect to this family line Dena. We'd be distant cousins. Would love to hear any interesting stories your mum or other older relatives might recall about the Howden family. I'm also wondering if anyone has any photos of any of the children or indeed of James & Sarah Howden (in their old age).

Feel free to private message me, and I'll provide you my email address.

Look forward to hearing from you Dena.

Kind Regards,

Anthony

Hi everyone,

Hope you're all looking after yourselves.

Would really like an amalgamation of the two separate passport photos of my late grandparents. Looking for a restoration that incorporates the two photos together side by side as one image (preferably resized to which will fit in a photo frame 6" by 8". No fuss if there is a difference between the two backgrounds between the photos - actual quite like the colour difference between them. Not too keen on colouring the photos either, something really great about the old school photos just the way they are).

Not into the blurry/smudging effects. The two separate photos are in relatively good shape.

Some of my favourite photos of them both, and as always appreciate any efforts to amalgamate the two  :) :)

Kind Regards,

Anthony

Great work Jim & Peter.

Really like what you've done there Peter - the touch ups are fantastic, and think you're right on the mark on what I was after  :) :) :)

Thank you Pat and PatBot  :) :)

Hi Japeflakes,

Happy for the backgrounds to remain as they are in respective photos - even if they don't have the same colour, between the conjoined photo. The photo line divide between the two photos right down the middle is fine.

Thank you,

Anthony

Hi everyone,

Would really like some restores of the two passport photos of my late grandparents. Looking for a restoration that incorporates the two photos together side by side as one image (preferably resized to which will fit in a photo frame 6" by 8", or a 5" by 7". No fuss if there is a difference between the two backgrounds between the photos).

Not keen on the blurry/smudging effects, and original colour is good as is. There's some discolourations about, minor blemishes, and the imprint marking of the passport stamp on both of their photos.

Some of my favourite photos of them both, and as always appreciate any efforts to fix them up  :) :)

Kind Regards,

Anthony
