I'd guess that Harriet was probably an illegitimate daughter of either Mary or Sarah.

I see Thomas (Thos) in the household, with the same given age as Betsy, but he's at the bottom of the household list rather than arranged in age order with the others so I wonder if he might have been a nephew or something like that maybe? I haven't seen a baptism for him.

How can you say that they are your direct line ancestor if you've not been able to trace them forwards? I'm confused.

Annie Margaret Withers was buried in plot uN 1013 at Welford Rd cemetery on 1 Mar 1913. She was 24, and her previous address was given as Leicester Infirmary. There are no other Withers in the same plot.

I can't see where Albert or Phyllis were buried.

I forgot that I have info re workhouse admissions!

Is this William? The age isn't quite right but neither, I think, is the age on burial?

Admission 8-Dec 1880
Green William   age 64, Box Maker   St. Margaret's
Roman Catholic
Reason for admission; Illness

Disharge 12 Jan 1881
William Green
Deceased

(Being RC would also account for the fanily being in the unconsecrated section at Welford Road)

And yet the Welford Rd burial record gives William's abode  mas St John St (as per post above). The workhouse was on Sparkenhoe St, a mile or so away. Perhaps William wasn't an inmate per se of the workhouse, but only went there briefly for his terminal illness?

This is probably the Lockton link:

If you can see a clear family naming pattern, I think it can help to sway towards one person rather than another, but I wouldn't want to rely totally on that.

How about posting the info that you have and see if anyone can help?

These are the baptisms I found (I mentioned more than this before but I can't find them all now so maybe I miscounted!)   (Edited to add Henry's and Susanna's baptisms which I'd missed out, and addresses)

Sarah AIKIN   JOHN & SUSANNAH   1815   9-Mar   ALL SAINTS   Workhouse
William AKINS   JOHN & SUSANNA   1816   22-Oct   ST MARGARET'S   Church Gate
John AKINS   JOHN & SUSANNA   1819   3-Feb   ST MARGARET'S   Needle Gate
Henry AKINS     John and Susanna      1821         27 April    St Margaret   Address unclear, maybe Short St?
Samuel AIKINS   JOHN & SUSANNA   1826   6-Dec   ST NICHOLAS   Fryars
Frances AIKINS   JOHN & SUSANNA   1826   6-Dec   ST NICHOLAS   Fryars
Susanna ATKINS  John and Susanna    1829        27 May      St Margaret        Goddard's Place
Benjamin AKIENS  JOHN & SUSANNAH   1831   12-Aug   ST MARGARET'S   Goddard's Place, Belgrave Gate
Elizabeth Susannah AIKINS   JOHN & SUSANNAH   1833   18-Apr   ST MARGARET'S   Belgrave Gate

Some of these children have been mistranscribed on FindMyPast as ATKINS but are clearly not that when you look at the image.

Could this be Mary Ann? There are no other Agar baptisms with parents of this name and the date would fit inbetween the baptisms above. John's occ is given as woolcomber, as with some of the other children above.

Mary Ann AGAR   JOHN & SUSANNA   1823   13-Apr   ALL SAINTS   Causeway Lane
