Sorry to be a bother, but I'm still coming up with no leads concerning William HENSHAW or his family. I have yet to find any birth details of William or what his fathers name might be.

Any help would be wonderful and very appreciated

Derbyshire / Convict birth Help.
« on: Monday 06 February 12 11:21 GMT (UK)  »
Gday all,
I'm hoping someone can help me with a convict ancestor of mine. William HENSHAW b. circa 1827. I'm not sure where he was born but on his convict indenture form it has him being a native of SHARDLOW, DERBY. He commited his crime in the CASTLE DONNINGTON area and was convicted at the LEICESTER courts in 1846. He was transported to Australia(Tasmania) on the ship Palmyra.

What I would like help in finding out is his actual birthdate/place and his parents names, so I can continue on with my tree.

Thank you in advance.

Matt

Chiad Fhear,
Thank you for your very kind offer, but I dont think it may be the right Robert Wilson. My Robert is always recorded as going by the name of Robert Boyack Wilson. I do believe that this gent belongs to HDW's family.

Again thank you for your help.
