Is it possible to get rid of the horrible wall in the background and replace with a nice soft colour, also a little colour to the ladies dress,am i asking the impossible ?

Hello Everyone, hope I have posted in the right place. After having some wonderfull restores of photo's from generous people on roots, i have taken the plunge and have orderd Coral paintshop Pro x2 Ulitmate , I have no idea how to restore photo's ect but thought I would at least try, have any of you used this one, I am a complete novice so it would be a first for me, would really like to learn and hopefully be able to help others with restorations in the future.

I have a Hiram Smith born about 1855 in Roch Pembrokeshire he marry's Elizabeth Ann Edwards in Neath in1879, I can find him in the 1881 Welsh census married to Elizabeth he is a coal miner and have no children, i can not find him in 1891 1901 or 1911 any were, also looked for death between 1881 and 1901 and have found nothing, can you help please
