Pablo Fanque was apparently born William Darby, 30 March 1810 in Norwich, so not Spanish, but pretty interesting anyway...

The 1861 census says she was unmarried.
The 1841 census has a Mary Ann Thompson born 1839 in Theddlethorpe with other Thompsons

There are baptisms for Charles and George, children of John and Hannah, which coincide. Then there's a death of Hannah in 1838, so John may have remarried between 1838 and 1841. If so, his father's name should appear in that marriage entry.
