Don't have any actual information other than an extract from the 1881 census,  which lists them as living at 68 park street with their family.

Mary Flannigan - wife born Ireland
Theresa aged 10, Michael aged 8, Peter aged 5, Patrick aged 4, John aged 5months.  I reckon my Grandfather Joseph was born about 1884 although I'm not sure. 

Cannot find any info on Mary Flanningan other than above.

Sorry forgot to say I am just trying to piece together any information that I can get.  Or a nudge in the right direction.  Have been upto the heritage centre in Motherwell a couple of times but a lot of the info is on film and I start to go brain dead after a while.  so any info would be helpful.  does this make sense?

Again have very little information other than they lived at 30 Cowie square , craigneuk.  Joeseph was a miner.  they were married about 1900/1901, Had ten children in total (3 died in infancy) starting with Mary, Kate, John, Joe, Peggy, George and Lizzie.  Margaret died in March 1924 and is buried in Airbles Cemetary.  I think her parents could be George and Mary Cunningham who lived at 27 Cowie Square but I'm not sure on this one.  Her mothers name was definately Mary and she died in April 1936 and is also buried in Airbles.  Joe preston Snr died 02/03/60 aged 76 and is also at Airbles.

Hi sorry about that still trying to find my feet.  All I have for Bridget Murphy is my dads birth certificate.  He was born 29/8/1916.  Bridget was his birth mother and she put him up for adoption. That is all the information I have on Bridget.  (My dad has now passed away and unfortunately did not speak about his family.   I noticed another member was looking for someone at 365 mathieson street and got a wee bit carried away.  Anyway info I have is as follows:

Extract No 1277/ August 29th 1916 Maternity Hospital Glasgow./  Bridget Murphy -Daughter of a compositor - Journeyman) Domicile 372 Mathieson Street, Hutchesontown Glasgow./ Registered on the 7th September 1916 in the District of St Rollox.  G. Millar Buchanan was the registrar.

I am trying to trace info on a bridget murphy who lived at 372 mathieston street, glasgow in 1916.  Her father was a compositor? 

I am also looking for any info on a Michael Preston and Mary Flannigan/ Joseph Preston and Margaret cunningham who lived in the park street /Cowie Square area of motherrwell in the late 1890 to 1930 time.
