Derbyshire / Re: Deciphering Certificate
« on: Friday 26 May 06 08:50 BST (UK)  »
Thank you, that's really helped.
I agree with you all it must be St Alkmund, and that makes the district fit in with other births of their children in St Peter's district.

Thanks again.

Cambridgeshire / 1880's Map of Chatteris
« on: Saturday 22 April 06 20:55 BST (UK)  »
Has anyone got a map of Chatteris around the 1880's as I am finding it difficult to place Ferry Farm where my ancestors lived in 1881 Census.
Next door was Burrows Farm and Ferry House.

Can anyone please help with anything?

Help!!   ???

I'm going bonkers trying to track down and pin my ancester to one birthplaace.

In 1901 Census he states Derby, Derbyshire
In 1891 he claims Ashbourne, Derbyshire
Then in 1881 the person I believe could be him is stating Bradley, Derbyshire

Could this be so? Does it happen a lot?

Please help me ! :'(

Trying to find this person in the 1901 Census.

THOMAS PATRICK JONES

Not sure of age probably between 10-15 yrs old, (had first child in 1911)

Area Denbighshire

Possibly COEDPOETH, Wrexham.

Likely to be linked with Coal Mining as he became a coal miner.
If anyone could help I would appreciate it.
