Hello.  Sorry if I am confusing you.   It was James Snr who left money etc to the two ladies.

Hello.  Yes that is Jame's death.  Died 1934.  I can't find a marriage for James Snr and Ellen although it is stated in his Will that he left his daughters Maria and Kate Browne his personal possessions/wealth.  Really bizarre as I wasn't aware of these two ladies and nothing left to James Jnr.

Cork / Am wondering if there are any birth records for Cork in 1855 please
« on: Sunday 22 October 23 13:03 BST (UK)  »
Hello, I am trying to find out when my Great Grandfather James Browne was born if possible?  He was baptised on 16 June 1855.
Parish Variants   Cannavee, Kibonane, Kilbonane, Kilmurry, Moviddy, Kilbonane and Cannavee, Moviddy
Diocese   Cork and Ross

His parents were James Browne and Ellen Swiney.  My GG is given as being illegitimate on his Baptism record.

PLEASE NOTE THAT HIS SURNAME COULD BE SPELT EITHER WITH THE E ON THE END OR WITHOUT.

I do have other records for him but am desperately trying to find out when he was born.   It would have been under a Roman Catholic Birth.

His Death is under this film number if that is any help as I'm not to sure if the death certificate would give his exact birth date.
FHL Film Number   101739

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Kathryn

Hi Clare.  Boy it's hot today.  Thanks for responding.  I would be grateful if you could email me the details please.  Out of interest what details does the record give in relation to the mother?

Look forward to hearing from you.

I take it that you still have my email address?

Kindest regards to you and your family.

Morning all.  Does anyone know where copies of the Baptismal Records are kept for babies born at Assisi please?  I did see a post somewhere where am sure the person got a copy from a Church nearby but am not 100% sure on this.  I might be having a senior moment!!
