Hi again,

Following on from the Garveston "link" in the Will, a possible baptism for John, found on Freereg.
John Neave, baptised Deopham, 12 March 1709/10, son of John and Ann Neave.

Deopham, Garveston and Gressenhall are all within 6 miles of each other

Hello,

Been unable to find a likely baptism for either, but here is John Neave's will, dated 1777
May give you a few clues  - he had property in Garveston , for example.

You need to be signed in to Family Search to view it.

Confirmation of Maria's baptism by Robert Nudd -

The will of Robert Nudds, dated 1834, is viewable via Family Search.

I've had a quick look, and Robert refers to his "daughter Maria, the wife of Charles Havers"

Sorry waswig, not sure what you mean.

The Norfolk Record Office link I sent detailed the extract was from a Court Roll dated 1731, Admission of Lord Hobart on the surrender of Wright Wigg.
Not a long page - only a few lines

It's the actual original document which mentions Thomas Wigg

The Norfolk record office has this -  http://nrocat.norfolk.gov.uk/DServe/dserve.exe?dsqServer=NCC3CL01&dsqIni=dserve.ini&dsqApp=Archive&dsqCmd=Show.tcl&dsqDb=Catalog&dsqPos=19&dsqSearch=%28%28text%29%3D%27Wright%20Wigg%27%29
(tried to shrink the link but it didn't work ::)

I have looked at the document, (via the Family Search website) which is in Latin, so I’m afraid I can’t help with a translation, though I can see the name Thomas.

There is a second similar document mentioning Wright Wigg, other names Richard, John and Thomas, but again in Latin.
Also, the will of Richard Wegg of Blickling, 1715, in which he bequeaths an amount of money to his “Kinsman, Wright Wigg”

Also mentioned in this Will are William and Elizabeth Flood, of Thursford.
I believe Elizabeth Flood was previously Elizabeth Wigg  (marriage in 1702 at North Barsham, but the register is very difficult to read)

I can give you links to all these documents, but to view them you would have to sign in to Family Search.
