Northumberland Lookup Requests / Re: National Burial Index Lookup
« on: Tuesday 08 June 21 01:13 BST (UK)  »
Thank you both for the information

Radcliff -  the Heath Henderson that was buried there had a daughter called Heath also, born 1781 she died in 1849 in Durham married to George Wanlace.

The son of this original Heath married to William had a daughter called Heath also, who was born in 1808 in Caste Ward but who came to the north west of England and married a Farmer/Publican called Pilkington and died there in 1879.

So we have Heath Booth married to William Henderson
their daughter Heath Henderson married to George Wanlace
their grandaughter Heath Henderson daugh of Cuthbert, married to Pilkington.

Aw! That's great!! That is them, they did live Ayres Quay.  I didn't know he was a glassman and that makes me very happy as now I can link him for sure with his son that came to Liverpool to work in the crown glass factory at Old Swan and then my town.  Thanks folks.

I see a record in this database on findmypast
I have the NBI version 2 but it doesn't contain this record (paid £40 for this back in the day and it's never been any use to me)

Could someone who has a better version please look for the following

Bishopwearmouth, Durham
27/11/1785
Heath Henderson (spouse William)

and her daughter

17/7/1783
Susanah Henderson (father William)

Which church are they buried at please and is William there with them (born around 1745 Married in 1771

Thank you

Durham / Re: Robinson's Lane, Sunderland

You will find Robinson's lane, Sunderland on this page.

https://www.newcastle.gov.uk/sites/default/files/2018-12/Sunderland%20reduced.pdf

Look for Fig 17 Rain 1785 - Sunderland and then look for High Street and you will find your lane right under the capital D of Sunderland, it is actually an alley. The entrance to it was an archway which you can see on the following page

http://www.sunderland-antiquarians.org/assets/Uploads/OPGM/WAP/PlacesofWorshipinOldSunderland.pdf

Old thread I know but if anyone else is looking.

The index is on Ancestry now but the link sends you to FOLD3 of all places  ::)

Is it possible for someone to look mine up and give me his  address to prove it is my soldier before I shell out full subs, they've taken down the pay per view option, now why did they do that?

If this is a no, no, could I get a check for him on the 1939 AV please?

Eric Henderson born  4 May 1901 St Helens, Lancs
Service number 1457586
Rank Gunner Artillary Regiment 1939-1945
24:Japanes Index Cards  POW and Internees etc   Hatch-Hayworth
I found out from FEPOW this man  was sent to Japan but don't know where he was captured.

There are two men in St Helens area with the same name and a few years between them, the birth date I have for him changes for each record I have. From 1901-1905 so address would prove useful if there is one which I've been told should be on the card.

Correct, I shall save that for later.

If they have them as these are RC records.

I just tried to email the church at Sutton about finding the burial of Mary in their funeral books but the email on the website is not working.  ::)

Like wading through mud.

That's been the case with every line, dead ends all over the place, RC records are never easy but this has been hell. You are probably right, the solution is the burials. Thanks for looking.

I've noted down 1960 although I have no proof, no grave found yet as the records I have don't reach that far, will have to go plod around the churchyard. There were three choices on Lancashire BMD and the other 2 were born in 1880's
