Sussex Lookup Requests / Greatham, Sussex.
« on: Friday 10 October 08 17:26 BST (UK)  »

I have WILLIAM AYLING, born 1767 at Greatham, died 1855 at Worthing, wed ANNE FAULKNER, 1768 - 1816, at

Felpham in 1790.

BUT, I have no clue as to who William's parents were, where they came from, when born, nothing.

So if I could ask someone to kindly look this up for me in the parish registers, it would be very helpfull.

Sussex Lookup Requests / Storrington, Sussex.
« on: Friday 10 October 08 10:40 BST (UK)  »

Hi, I am trying to find more information on Mary Jane Goatcher. It is known that she was born 1849 at Storrington, and

that she wed James Ayling in 1871 at Broadwater. Mary's father is thought to be William Goatcher, 1819 - 1887, born

Washington, Sussex. He died at Storrington. I would like to find out who was Mary's mother, or any other details I have

missed.

If anyone can do a look - up for me i would be most grateful.

Suffolk / Bungay - MUTTOCK/MUDDOCK
« on: Thursday 09 October 08 23:38 BST (UK)  »
Hi, me again, !

Yet another mystery in the family charts, We have William Muttock, who died in 1962, and his wife Elsie, nee Muddock,

They had Margaret Muttock, who died in 1929, and possibly 2 other daughters.

Family tradition has it that they were either a tailor or a seamstress, and that they had a shop in Bungay.

With so little to go on I am having problems finding anything about them.

Here's hoping that there is someone out there that can enlighten me.

Suffolk / Chediston PECKS
« on: Monday 06 October 08 13:37 BST (UK)  »
Sorry to be a pest, but I now need a look-up for Samuel Peck, born Chediston in 1831. I am hoping he will appear on

the 1841 census as he was still resident there in 1870 when his son Charles was born. Samuel wed a lady named

Sarah, she came from Lancashire and was born in 1836.

If Samuel is on the 1841 census I should be able to discover his parents names, and hopefully something of the family.
