Hi Damian - just found this through Googling!

I'm the Ruth quoted above by Orielbenfro.
My ancestors are the same line as Lots wifes - Martha Ann Phillips (was a Phillips myself before marriage).
I'm also in contact with direct decendants of Lot and both they and myself have full trees on the Ancestry website.  They are descended from Thomas Roberts - son of Lot.

Who was sometime Rector of New Radnor
But in the year of Trial 1691
Was deprived of all that he could not keep with a good conscience
Who died 17 January 1727 aged 70 years

Trenewydd is in the parsh of Crunwere.

I was just wondeirng what information might be available about the dates he was there etc.

He also seem's to have had a sister Margaret Price Jones who was living with him as a housekeeper after his wife died - Margaret would have been born about 1863.

Yes I understand - don't think I made myself clear - he had plenty of money when he came back - and I was assuming he had money before he went too - they were quite the gentry family here.  Talk was he was fruit farming oranges?  But that might not be correct.

Flintshire Lookup Requests / Benjamin Jones search b abt 1862 Mold?

Hi - We have a family in Pembrokeshire descended from a Benjamin JONES who gave his information on the 1901 census as aged 39yrs and born in Mold.

Before coming to Crunwere Parish (village of Llanteg) he was in California - so we're not looking for a labouring family here!  The family were obviously of means financially.

As we're researching the village & family history any light you could shed would be appreciated.
