Hi everyone
I'm looking for a John Boase birth year 1839, In 1851 he was with his parents in Jersey and it says he was born there. Other census say he was born in Redruth Cornwall but I have spoken with the parish archives in the Redruth area and there is no record,I have also sent for certificates and none match, Parents John Boase and Betsy Broadley.
Thanks in advance for any help
Kim

Hi Carole and Heywood
Yes think Jane and  Thomas were up to naughties LOL while living under the same roof and while he was married to Christiana, they married in 1882, and Jane and  John Thomas married in 1909 in St Marys Bradford 4 of the children seem to have been born before they married only one Francis was born later. Its all very confusing that's why I think I need the Catholic registers,

Hi Heywood
first one is Joseph Hurd  his birth was  9/1/1901 the census say Sheffield so does his army records which I have, and his marriage certificate and his prisoner of war records and his death certificate, all of these I have but no birth.
then I have  Catherine or Kate (as she was known) hurd 1891-1894, 1901 and 1921 census say born in Scarborough and 1911 says Bradford
Then Mary Hurd 1897 to 1900 same again as to the places of birth, mothers maiden name maguire
