US Lookup Requests / Cunningham Campbell.
« on: Saturday 01 June 13 15:27 BST (UK)  »
While doing my family tree I dicovered a relative named Cunningham Campbell who was born in Scotland about 1819,I can't find him after census 1841.In 1851 parents James Campbell and wife Janet Gray stated the had lived in Quebec from 1848/1851.I assumed they must have family there. Posted on Canadian board with no luck.By chance I came across a Cunningham Campbell in the US census for 1930  living in Ridley Park Delaware,Pennsyvania aged 70 and estimated birth year 1860, and stated his father was born in Scotland,I wonder if this is the family connection I am looking for.
Any help appreciated.
Thank you,

Canada Lookup Request / James Campbell/ Janet Grey.
« on: Thursday 30 May 13 12:10 BST (UK)  »
Hi, I posted a request on Scottish roots chat re the above my 4xgreatgrandparents,who when they applied for poor relief in Paisley Scotland on 13/8/1851 and they stated that they had been in Quebec from 1848-1851,at which time the following family members were living with them in Paisley,Janet,William and Hugh,a rootschatter suggested that they maybe went with children to Canada as the were aged 78 and 77 in 1851. Other children they had were Andrew born @1817,Christian@1804,James@1802,Cunningham@1819. Just wondering if anyone has any of these people in their lineage.
Thank you.
