« on: Wednesday 02 November 05 15:00 GMT (UK)  »
Hi Gladys

on the 1851 census Emma is down as living with her daughter Sarah in Blyth and Newsham, Northumberland

Emma is down as Housekeeper to a family called Gibson
Head of the family is an agent colliery

Sorry I cant find Thomas Freeman - he maybe at sea - as he was down as a mariner

If you want me to go forward on the census returns it will be a pleasure - it gives me a break from my lot - just let me know

regards

fran

Census Lookup and Resource Requests / Re: Newbould - Stonnall 1861

Hi Mary, again

Ive found the two daughters on 1871 census both servants

Mary Ann is with a family in Aston, Warwickshire, servant for a family called Bloor - head of family is an Auctioneer

Eliza (looks like that is correct name and not Elizabeth) in still in Stonnall, Shenstone, servant for a family called Petcher - head of family is a Miller (hat maker)

This info might help you to find them on subsequent census through marriage

but have the following siblings as well

Eliza (possibly short for Elizabeth_ abt 1857 born stonnall - daug
George, abt 1859, born stonnall - son
Mary Ann, abt 1853, abt 1853 born stonnall - daug
Saml (possibly short for Samuel), abt 1854 born stonnall - son

John (father) still down as Labourer

Elizabeth (wife) is still with them all as well

Been trying to find them in 1871 but no success yet

Do you have them on any other census ?
