Hello Kathy, I took an interest in another topic, to do with Whitewell, about a year ago. From what I remember there were some pictures although somewhat later; about 1950s.

Yours etc Newgent.

Hi All,
my great, great, great, were Archibald Graham and Catherine Fox.

Hello Archifox, I tried to send a picture of Archibald but to no avail, the reason being, it was too large; They have to be under 500 something or other. What I have done is used the picture of him as the avatar. I have other picture of his wife and some children which I will send, maybe the same way.

Yours etc.,    Newgent.

Hi All,
my great, great, great, were Archibald Graham and Catherine Fox.

Hello Archifox, I am related to Archibald Graham through his brother, Joseph  who was my great, great grandfather on my mother's side of the family. I inherited, or acquired  all the correspondence and albums for the Grahams through my maternal grandmother, Margaret Irons, nee Graham who was also a poetess and founding member along with Thomas Carnduff of the Belfast Poetry Circle. If you scroll back on this topic , you will find plenty of comments related to your query. I on the other hand will be quite willing to show with you anything I have or know.
Yours,  etc.,   Newgent.

What I was trying to establish and meant to say was; Was Hamilton McMaster's mother's maiden name Hamilton and if so was she related to the Hamilton family of Clare or Tullylish.

Hello Liscoole, it's good to be able to correspond with you and others at Rootschat again. If you could put a name to your friend's friend who lived in Glengormley house, perhaps I in turn could put a date.

Yours, etc.,      Newgent.
