If anyone has access to the 1841 census for Trowbridge, I'd really appreciate a lookup for John Franklin - aged around 40 and his daughter Elizabeth (about 16) and anyone else with the family. In 1861 the family lived in Back Street, Trowbridge.

Best wishes

I'm desperate!
Trying to find Joseph Brown, Tallow Chandler, in 1851 census. There is a directory entry for "Quadrant", but if it's him, it's not on the 1851 census.
In 1841 he was in Richmond, by the mid 1850's his children married in the Holborn area.
In 1851 he could be anywhere!!!!

Always hoping.........

I have the CD's and the index version 1 and still can't find this family. If anyone, anywhere can help I'd be extremely grateful. Looking for:
Joseph Brown - aged 50-60 - Tallow Chandler
Sarah Brown - aged 50-60
Joseph Brown - aged 24
Sarah Brown - aged 20 - born Surrey (probably Richmond)
Ebenezer Brown - aged 17 - born Surrey (probably Richmond)
Martha Brown - aged 12 - born Richmond, Surrey

In 1841 they were in Richmond, Surrey. By 1855 they were in London (Clerkenwell).

Best wishes
Linda
