I have recently discovered that my great uncle from Blackrock Dundalk died in the 2nd world war in 1940 aged 20. I would really love to know if there was an obituary for him in the Dundalk Demokrat, does any one know how I can find this out? His name was Nicholas Smyth and he was in the RAF.

I am looking to find some info on my great-grandfather the above who I believe lived in Sandy Lane Blackrock Haggardstown. He died in 1964 as is on his gravestone and was married to Bridget. Would be grateful if someone can look him up on any of the censuses.
