Hi Davey.h

My 3rd Great Grandfather was William John Close who died 30 Sep 1876, married to a Mary Jane ? who died 1901.  Watsons are also related just don't know how yet, but I have a quite abit of information on them.

Do you think we might be related?

Further to my email I found another child for William & Margaret Close

Ellen born Jan 4th 1860, baptised feb 3rd 1861, Derriaghy Parish Church, parents address given as Ballycollin and sponsors ... William & Eliza Richardson and Alice Crowe.

What a fantastic site! So informative and interesting.

I am actually finding this information out for my friend Ronnie who belongs to the same family history society as I do.  He was at a dead end and I offered to help.  He does not do forums etc.  He has his family I think 2 generations back, but I am not sure what exactly he has.

He was so chuffed with the information you have already supplied and he will be over the moon when he sees this site,  which I have just emailed him.

Many, many thanks.  If I can help you in anyway with your research, I will try.  I live in Ballymena, Northern Ireland and visit PRONI most weeks.
