Technical Help / Yahoo home page

Hope someone can help. I run windows XP home edition on my pc and use Yahoo as my home page so I can access my e-mails. I am now having trouble getting the home page when I log in, all I get is waiting for http://uk.yahoo.com/index_narrow.html.... flashing in the left hand lower bar. It is trying to load but cannot, although I can access sites via my favourites. This has been going on for about 5 days, but a few weeks ago I had to upgrade my windows internet explorer, to windows explorer 8 (I think). I have had a few other problems with difference sites since I have done this.
This does also happen if I try to access the internet via Mozilla Firefox.
Any help would be appreciated as it is a bit awkward trying to access my e-mails

Could anyone look up a baptism for me please. Ann Harde born 1841 in Swansea (she was 1 month old on the 1841 census). They lived in Garden Street and I think she could have been baptised at St Mary's Swansea as I have some other members of her family baptised there.

My great grandparents, James & Ann Harde lived in Garden Street, Swansea at the Stafford Arms, they were listed there from 1841 until there death in the 1870's.Does anyone know anything about this Inn/pub and if there are any photographs of it.

Hi, looking for a Patrick Lynaugh born about 1840 in Kells, County Meath. He moved to Lincolnshire where he married Ann Elizabeth Harmston in 1877, he was listed as Lanaugh.

I am looking for the birth of Emma Pritchard - she has a different place of birth on most of the census. These include Cayhton, Sambrook, Market Drayton & Shrewsbury!!! The IGI record for her christening (I think it is the correct one) is Chetwynd - I have found a birth record as Mar 1856 in Newport S could anyone claryfy if this could be the correct one? I presume that some of them are the areas they lived in but is Newport S the registration district for this area? Her parents were William & Mary Ann Pritchard.

I have a record for James Harmston marrying an Ann Elizabeth Lyons on 26th Sept 1846 in Dunblane. I have found a copy of the banns being read, would there be an actual marriage certificate if so were could I get it? I have come to a halt - I cannot find any birth record or census record for either. I know James was dead when his daughter Ann Elizabeth got married in 1877 in Silk Willoughby in Lincolnshire and I think the mother must have moved there too as I think I have found her death in Sleaford.
Any help would be grateful

I have a wedding certificate for a marriage at St Mary's Catholic Church, Silk Gonerby. The family are from Silk Willoughby - can anyone tell me if this is the same place as I have been unable to find it on a map
