Hi Folks - I am trying to find details of Roseanns family.    She was born around 1862 in Ireland and married a soldier from the 5th Regiment, George Palmer on 10 February 1883 in Sligo.    I believe her parents to be Edward Logan - no details, and Winifred Hogg born around 1829 also in Sligo.
George and Rose had a child Mary Winifred born 1885 probably in Sligo.
George died in 1901 and Rose 1926 both Glasgow (George same address as Winifred Hogg) 
Winifred (Hogg) died in City Poorhouse (Residence 48 McAslin St), Glasgow on 8 April 1896.

any help with the details of Edward and Winifred Logan (Hogg) and births of children in Sligo would be much appreciated.

In the 1901 census I have Robert Stonehouse (1855) his wife Mary (1855) and their 4 children.    1911 census shows that had 4 children and all still alive.    However there are also 2 other children shown as their sons: Stanley b 1896 and Fready b 1898.   GRO does not show mother maiden name for either nor can I find "Fready" in the GRO.   No Fready in the 1911 census

Who is the mysterious Fready and who is actually the mother of them both.    Any help would be greatly appreciated

looking for parents of Muriel Hunter Taylor (1937-2011) and John Gay Taylor (1938-2014) I am hoping the parents are:
John Gay Taylor (1905-1975) and Jane Heddle Banks Hunter (1906-1969) married in Granton Manse on 21 June 1929.    I know that they had one son Andrew George Taylor (1930-2001)    All would have been born in Leith, Midlothian

I am trying to confirm the parents of the above:

James Moore:
Born between 1795  and 1803 in Otterbourne, Hampshire
1823 married Jane Morant in Winchester
1841 in Murrell Green, Hartley Wintney - Post Boy according to dau Mary Bapt record
1851 and 1861 Phoenix Inn, HW birth date given as 1796 winterbourne
I have seen the marriage details but it has no info on parents. 
Death 1867 HW

Born about 1803 (as given on census) in Romsey, Hants
I have her in census 1871 (widow) with GDau Beagley and 1881 with GDau Ching which all fits.
Birth of son William in 1844 has GRO entry Mo Morant.   Birth entry for dau Esther 1841 has  Mo Mu.....
Death 1884 HW

I think James parents may have been George and Mary and Janes William and Sarah  but have no positive proof.   

Therefore not happy to put on tree without a positive result

I have a John Skriving born 1866 London living in 1871 with grandparents James and Hannah Leach in Kirkby Thore, Westmorland.    His parents also living in Kirkby Thore are:   John b1844 Glos, Sarah b1844 Devon (dau of James and Hannah and with her mo 1861 unmarried), children Harriet b1867 Herts, George b1868 London and Mary Ann b1871 Westmorland.    The surname on both addresses in the census is Skriving.    I have tried every combination of this surname and can find no birth details, further census addresses - nothing.   Now at my wits end - Sarah is the sister of a Norah Ann Leach who I also had immense problems with (thankfully solved by rootschatters!!!)

hopefully I will be rescued yet again!
