The name is rare as you say.
I have several records with it being used as a Christian name.
The Annabee Pedder which forms the basis of my query is only named so after being Ann in all census records up to that time. However her daughter born about 1852 was registered as Julia Annabee Collins and there was a grand daughter born in 1897 at Gloucester named Annabee(look in FreeBMD for Collins and you will also see here death record in 1904). One final Annabee comes from IGI and relates to the marriage of Edward Pedder to Annabee Beare at St Brides Fleet St in London in 1822 ( might be the parents of my Annabee Pedder since she called her first born Edward in 1851)

Yes it is Pedder and I have seen this document. I have followed Ann through here life and it is only on her death record she is called Annabee.
She named her second child Julia Annabee and there was a grandchild born 1897 called Annabee
