I think its a great idea and if I'm available I'd like to help

Is it worth contacting local Schools who may have Students doing Duke of Edinburgh Award as they have to do some volunteer work to complete their award?

Lancashire Lookup Offers / Salford Local History Library
« on: Thursday 16 September 10 12:17 BST (UK)  »
I am going to Salford Local History Library tomorrow to look at the MI's for Weaste Cemetery.

I take photo's of the entrys because it is quicker and less likely of mistakes.

Last time I was there, there was also MI's for St Mary, Eccles and Wesleyan Methodist, Barton and some others that I can't recall.

Anyone want any look ups whilst I'm there just post a reply on here

Suzanne

Moderator Comment: thank you for the generous offer  -  if anyone would like a lookup, please post request on the Lancashire Lookup Requests Board and send a PM to the poster

I just thought it was a bright strange that they got married at St Marys in Prestwich but the children were baptised at Manchester Cathedral.

I've got them on the 1841, 1851 (unfilmed) and 1861 census' and Thomas on the 1871 census

Their children were
Mary Ann Egerton (1838)
Thomas Egerton (1838)
Harriet Egerton (1840-1842)
William Henry Egerton (1843)
Ellen Egerton (1845- 1870)- My ancestor
James Egerton (1848)
George Egerton (1853)
Thomas Egerton (1856)
Joseph Egerton (1858)
