Yorkshire (West Riding) / Bouskill and Bagshaw

Hi

I am researching my Husbands Family. His Maternal Grandfather George Bouskill I think I have found on 1901 Census

George Bouskill, Age 17, Born Yorkshire South Kirby, Admin County West Riding Yorkshire, Civil Parish Darfield, Occupation Colliery Pony Driver.

I also think I found him in 1891 Census but the surname is spelt Bowskill.

This is the only information I can find, I can't find his birth or marriage or death.

I have found his wife's Birth on Freebmd as March 1888

Bagshaw Alice, District Barnsley, Vol 9a, Page 234.

I cannot even find her in any of the census.

I will appreciate any help or hearing from anybody researching the same family.

Kind regards

Hoping someone can help!!!! I have found my Grandmother Alice Young birth on FreeBMD, it gives her birth as June 1887 District Warwick Volume 6d Page 610.

I also found her marriage to my Grandfather Frederick Smith June 1909 district Warwick Volume 6d Page 1153.

This is the only information I can find, I cannot find either of them in either the 1891 or 1901 census and I cannot find when my grandad was born. I have found out that my Grand father died 18/1/1961 aged 75 which I worked out that he was born in 1885 and that his Fathers name was George Edward Smith whose occupation was a Cellarman. But I still cannot find them on the census.

Any help appreciated or too hear from anyone who might be researching the same family or knows the family.

Kind regards

Devon / Summerfield Family

I am researching my family!!!! My grandfather was William Charles Summerfield, he was born in Plymouth December 1891. He married a lady called Sarah but I don't know when, I think her maiden name was Jefferies but I know she had been married before she married my Grandfather.

I know she had 2 children in her first marriage who I believe were called Alice and Winifred. My grandfather and Sarah had I believe 5 children William, Jim, Sid, Peggy and Pat.

I have been told my Grandfather was in the Navy during WW1 and that he ended up as skipper of a tug in Devonport Dockyard. He died in September 1947.

I would be grateful of any help.
