Just came across this thread and wondered if anyone knows what D Pet is? Surely not Driver Petrol?? I do know that Balloon Operator is the other.

Is anyone able to pick up any information from this photo? Either from what is there or what is not there.
The eagle on the sleeve appears to be, from what I can google, and early representation and I can't work out what the symbol below it could be.
The man this photo purports to be joined the RAF in 1930 as an AC2.
A longshot but any ideas would be welcomed.

Can anyone help with sharpening this? There are a couple of online sites that will do it but the results have really not been that good. Any help/ideas will be much appreciated.
