« on: Sunday 27 September 09 09:14 BST (UK)  »
Hi, Can anyone help me with a look up?
I now have an address for 1901 from a marriage certificate dated Oct 1901
The folk I am looking for are Walter Cullen [possibly Cullin] and family including William who was of 'full age' when he married, i belive he was 22.
Somewhere there should be a Mary Coughlin possibly with her family as well if I am lucky.
I don't have a number, just Butcher's Lane, Waterford [No 3 urban, Waterford]

many thanks for any help

Sussex / Falmer PR's look up please
« on: Tuesday 17 February 09 18:57 GMT (UK)  »
Hi

Does anyone have access to the PR's for Falmer.
I am looking to confirm two baptisms found on IGI to see if they are brothers if it gives fathers occupation or perhaps something else that might tie them up.
29 Oct 1721 John Simons
1 Nov 1730 Richard Symons
or perhaps there might be more siblings in between if I am lucky!
Parents were William and Elizabeth Simons/symons

Many thanks

Kay :)

Sussex Completed Lookup Requests / COMPLETED Church Twittern, Cuckfield
« on: Tuesday 17 February 09 07:31 GMT (UK)  »
Hi

I have found a relative who died at 'Church Twittern', Cuckfield. Does anyone know where this might be? I googled the phrase Church Twittern and it came back with a piece on Horsham and they described twitterns as alleyways or tree lined alleys.
As far as I can make out Cuckfield has quite a few tree lined roads. This phrase was used in 1921 and 1933.

Many thanks for any help

Waterford / waterford look up please
« on: Tuesday 03 February 09 13:08 GMT (UK)  »
Would SKS be able to look up the 1911 census or something similar to help me try a family.
I have just received a marriage cert dated 11 July 1910 and hope the family are still there
family is HAYES and they are in Sleakeale, Waterford. I believe Sleakeale is just a road in the city, not an area

Many thanks for any help

Yorkshire (West Riding) / PR look up - attercliffe cum darnall
« on: Saturday 15 November 08 23:34 GMT (UK)  »
Hi
does anyone have access to the PR's for Attercliffe Cum Darnall?
if possible i need a look up for a baptism for Arthur Dodson Smith.
he was born 1855 [sep q]
On 1861 he appears as a grandson to John and Elizabeth Smith in Attercliffe
1871 he is still a grandson age 15 to Elizabeth Smith still in Attercliffe
with the is Elizabeth's daughter Emma [suspect she is the mother of arthur]
They are all missing on 1881
in 1891 he is living with his mother in law  Mary a Twigg still in Attercliffe.

I would love to find out his parentage so i can add him to the tree.

Many thanks

Europe / passenger leaving UK
« on: Thursday 13 November 08 19:45 GMT (UK)  »
Could SKS look up a Passenger leaving Britain?

Name William Simmons. year of birth 1889. port probably London. destination Sydney, Australia. year 1949.

This was a great uncle who had previously emigrated to Australia and, with Ancestry's release of British passengers coming back to the UK, I found William had made a return trip.
I would love to know if he was travelling with any of his family and when he returned to sydney - I know he returned sometime in 1949

Many thanks

Cullen
