It could help if we had the ages for Alice, George and John Sullivan.
Do you have the two marriage certificates for Alice? If you do can you give us the details from them eg ages, occupations, addresses, witnesses names. Father's names and occupations. As it is I am not getting anywhere with the search because none of the names are unusual enough to stand out from the crowd,  :)

There is a tree on ancestry which has her father as Charles Frederick Wilson born 1872 and mother Lydia Ann Rose Custerson born 1872
The three of them are on the 1901 census, Elsie is 7  months old. Charles is a Tailor, both he and Lydia are age 29 living at 13 Imlyns? Building Eton. Charles and Elsie born Eton, Lydia born Kingston. I can't read the  County

That is a long break between children.
This birth reg shows Mary as the mother of Mary Ann

I can't see any other births 1839 to 1846 with a surname Prickett or similar.

I wonder if this is relevant to Rose and her son or another family entirely. I found it when searhing for the son using his stepfather's surname name in case he changed it after his mother's marriage

On ScotlandsPeople you can buy just a few credits to purchase the record you want to download.

There are also free sites such as familysearch.org, FreeReg, FreeCen. where you can look up censuses and other records. Of course the great members of RootsChat are a great resource and I am sure others will be along to help soon.
