Cheshire Lookup Requests / Marriage Lookup - Mottershead

Hi,
I am new to this chat web page but I thought I would try and see if you could help me find my ancestors from Cheshire.
John Mottershead (born ~1814 Stockport, Cheshire) married Jane Unknown (born ~ 1814 Cheshire) before 1834.
I am guessing the date as this was when their first child was born but I know that does not necessarily mean that they were married. Children are William (b 1834 Brinnington, Cheshire), Elizabeth (1835), Sarah (1838), Rebecca (1840), John (1845) and Joseph (1847). All were born in Brinnington, Cheshire.
I have found him in the 1841 and 1851 census but Jane does not appear in the 1851 census so either she left him or died before then.
Anyway if the marriage record could be found that would be great. Or a birth record would also be helpful. Anything really as I am getting desperate trying to find records pre 1837!!!
