Hi

I'm looking for the census entry for a Edward Humphries in Redditch, Worcestershire in 1861 or 1871. I need to know his age, residence and occupation.

Family in 1861;
Wife Sarah aged 35 daughters Elizabeth & Mary Anne

Family in 1971;
Wife Sarah aged 45 Children Elizabeth, Mary Anne, Edward, Thomas & Albert.

He may have died by 1881 as he is not showing on the 1881 census.

Many thanks and merry christmas. ;D

The name Mary Ann Harris is incorrect, and please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused to those who have looked in to this for me.

Do not continue with the search on Mary Ann Farmer because I now know who her family is and her birth place.

Thanks to anyone who tried to help me on this one.

Just John W. U. Farmers parentage to be sorted now.

Hi Mo

Thanks for looking for me. I have made one mistake the age should have been 5.

If you can't find a Mary Ann Harris then would you mind trying to locate a Mary Ann Farmer of the same age in Stock Green, Inkberrow, Feckenham.

The household in 1891 would have possibly been:

John W U Farmer(34)
Mary A Farmer(34)
Rhoda F Farmer(13)
Albert E Farmer(11)
John E G Farmer(eight)
Thomas E Farmer(2)

and hopefully a Mary Ann Farmer(5)

This is combining information based on the 1881 & 1901 censuses.

It could be that Mary Ann Harris is a false lead.

Ivan

Hi

I am looking for a census entry in 1891 for a Mary Ann Harris aged 3. Born in the Stock & Bradley area in the parish of Feckenham. Would like to know her parents and family members.

Be warned the name Harris was pretty prominent in this area.

Also anybody had any luck with John William Upton Farmer from the same area in 1861 aged 4 (preffered) or even 1871 aged 14. Desperate to know his father. Mother is Mary Ann Farmer. May even be a unmarried mother as no father is mentioned on his christening record or his brother's William (c 1861).

Appreciate the help.

Ivan

Hi

I would appreciate any help with a John William Upton Farmer in Inkberrow area in 1861. He should be aged about 5 yrs old (c:1856). Mothers name is Mary Ann Farmer.

What I really need help on is if she is married or not. If she is, could someone please tell me the name of the father on the census or if she is marked as unmarried and her age in 1861. She also christened another son in 1961 named William but I'm not sure if he will be on the census.

They may be listed as living in the Stock & Bradley, Worcestershire (now known as seperate villages Stock Green and Bradley Green).

Many thanks

Ivan
