I also have a bent police man, If you call being drunk on duty being bent. He was first demoted and disciplined 3 times and then asked to resign to avoid being fired!! I even have his police records, they are really funny!!

I have a suicide in my family, which is all hush hush!
The lady in question had a daughter out of wedlock (who is still alive) then married, had 2 more children and then killed herself in London
Its a bit of a no go area as her daughter refuses to talk about it or even acknowledge I'm researching that family line

Obviously Lhobrooke on the 1901 was a mistranscription!! Yes, the two girls were their children. Thanks alot, was hoping to solve this one without buying a certificate but needs must and if I dont it will just annoy me!!

Hi all,

John Grant b. 1860 in Harbertonford, Devon was married to Mary Coombe and they had 3 children, youngest born 1891.
In 1901, he is with a lady called Maria b. 1870 in lhobrooke, devon, they had 2 daughters in 1899, one of which died but I cannot find a marriage record for the two, even though they claim to be married!! and his first wife Mary, is still alive on the 1901 with 2 of her 3 children
Can anyone tell me who Maria was??

Thanks alot, Danielle
