Armed Forces / wharton /jutsum. Somme

would anyone be able to give me any info on
A.E Wharton born Paddington and died at the Somme . possibly aged 39. i believe he was in the London reg. and
r.c Jutsum died during the 1st world war on way back to medical base.
i don't know anything about him tho he was born in battersea . London.
i have the info from the war graves com.
most names Wharton or jutsom are related to me .

i am looking to make contact with a historian for the 15th hussars . my ggggrandfather Captain Charles Jones was with the 15th hussars during the battle of waterloo. there is a story of him going back for his pistols .
he was aide de camp to the king of Hanover. i have some his letters to his regiment but i would like to make direct contact to further my interest.
any ideas

hi , can anyone tell me where to find reference to obituaries from 2nd Oct. 1866 . Lavinia DE irujo. i wrote to the Chelsea / kensington library they were of small assistance but didn't tell me where the paper archives were. does anyone know the names of the local Chelsea papers. she died in Fulham but her daughter lived in Battersea. where do you think she would have been buried , had some money but not a lot . the daughter had little or none . any ideas. i want to find the grave before i come back to eng. 2007. thanks frederickay

hi i would like to find historical history of my maternal ggggggrandfather Captain Charles Jones .15th hussars, aide de camp to Ernest king of Hanover . Jones fought in Waterloo with a dutch regiment and was based in Hanover for many years . how do i find out his military history and correspondence. c. Jones was the father of Ernest Jones the chartist and poet. thanks . frederickay.

Still looking. Is there a possibility that Lavinia De irujo/yrujo may have an obituary in the paper? she lived her whole colorful life in Chelsea.
6 blizard pl and 123 Fulham rd.
she died 2nd October 1866 at 123 Fulham rd.
just clutching at straws trying to find where she is buried . her parish church appears to be St.Luke's.
any ideas which paper and how do i find them ?.

Lavinia de irujo or de Irujo. died 2nd Oct 1866 . lived at 123 Fulham rd.was involved with St Luke's , Chelsea all her life.
i have been unable to find her grave, she did at times use the name Jones but it was not her legal name. i have tried east finchley ,brampton and need some more ideas . thanks frederickay.

i would like to find Joseph Jutsum Downes ,possibly in the 1871/81or 91 census. he is a contacts gggrandfather if this helps, but they don't know his age, sorry.
he lived with Mary Ann Jones at
Sixpenny,Handley .
Dorset.
Mary Jones who was born in islington .London was the daughter of Mary and William Jones.
