Midlothian / WEIR MARRIAGES IN EDINBURGH

I am trying to find marriages for the following:

Alexander Sutherland WEIR born 1861 in Caithness - can't find on census
Catherine WEIR born 1864 in Staxigoe, Caithness - still single on 1881 census in Leith.
William WEIR born 1870 Wick - can't find on census
Angus Sutherland WEIR born 1872 Staxigoe - on 1881 census in Leith
Jamesina WEIR born 1874 Wick - still single on 1881 census in Leith
Marjory WEIR born 1878 Leith - still single on 1901 census Gorgie
Gavin WEIR born 1880 Leith

I realize perhaps some of these never married but it would be very useful to be able to find out if any of them did and I have no idea how to go about finding this out. Any help gratefully accepted.

Caithness / SUTHERLAND FAMILY ON CENSUS

Can anyone help or advise? Looking for Alexander SUTHERLAND and his family. I found them in 1841 in Latheron as: Alexander SUTHERLAND age 30 - spirit dealer. Margaret (nee MORE) age 25. Children: Caithren age 5, Alexander age 4, Margerry age 2. All born Caithness. There is also a Margerry age 55 born Caithness with them (wonder if this is Alexander's mother?). I would like to find them in future years and also find Alexander's parents.

Any help very much appreciated.

I think these two were the parents of my Roger PROSSER who was born in Llandeilo in Radnorshire around 1819-1820. I think he had an older brother, Thomas Born 1805 who married Mary LEWIS. Can anyone help me find the parents marriage and if there are any more children and where they were on the 1841 census?

Thanks - that's brilliant. Wonder if Martha was his mother or grandmother? Please let me know if you come across them again or in another census. I think they moved to Brenconshire once he married in 1854.

Can anyone tell me if Roger PROSSER and his parents show up on the 1851 Radnorshire census possibly for Llandeilo? He was born ~ 1825 in Llandeilo and I believe his parents were Roger and Rachel Prosser. He married Mary Lloyd in 1854 and she was born in Llaneclives ~1820. Thank you for any help you can give.

Just starting to get on a roll here with my husband's family but need help. Roger PROSSER married Mary LLOYD in 1854. He was born ~1825 in Llandeilo and she in ~1820 in Llaneclives (from 1861 census Llanfrynach Village, Brecon). They had 3 sons then James, David and William (b 1860 and who my husband is a direct line from). I am trying to find out if they had more children and who they all married and also who Roger's and Mary's parents were - bit of a long shot? Roger died before 1881 as Mary shows up with William as a widow in Llanfrynach. William later moved to Sheffield and died there in 1935. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
