It's on the town hill road on the right as you head towards Rasharkin direction. When you come into Portgleone and come to the mini roundabout from the Randalstown side go straight through and it's only a short distance on the right hand side

I believe the church was knocked down some time ago but there is still a graveyard in the grounds of what belonged to it and it is maintained and used to this day

You're not Toms son by any chance?
I have a fairly full family history of Toms mother Emily and her 15 siblings to present day. Have a few loose ends to tie up

Antrim / Martha Ann Lloyd shore street
« on: Wednesday 02 September 15 09:53 BST (UK)  »
Hi my great great grandmother Martha Ann Lloyd lived at 32 shore Street at the time of her marriage to John Reid on 12th January 1888. At St. Paul's parish church. Am wondering where exactly Shore street is. I am imagining it is about the Shore Road somewhere. Martha was originally from Walton in the Hill in Liverpool and I am still intrigued as to how she came to Belfast. Am also still trying to find a birth certificate for her daughter Florida Lloyd who is down as as Reid on the Census of 1901 and 1911 as John brought her up as his own. She was born on 29 October 1885 but I am not sure if Martha was still in England or had moved over her by that stage. Thanks

i would interested to see where the census for 1851 and 1841 is . For these Thompsons. I have Thompsons in portglenone from around that time and there is another thread on here that has the details of someone finding them on the census for those years but some of the names don't match up to this thread. Maybe Aghadowey could find the link as I'm not sure how to do it from using my I phone . Thanks

Lancashire Lookup Requests / Re: Martha Ann Lloyd 1871 Walton on the hill

Just getting back into this side of my tree again. I have Florida Lloyd born 29 October 1885 probably in Belfast but I can't find any record of the birth. Her mum Martha Ann Lloyd doesn't appear anywhere from the 1871 census in Walton on the hill  until she married John Reid in 1888 in Belfast. Florida is such an unusual name as well. I am still wondering if she was born in England before Martha came to Belfast.  Florida is listed as Lloyd on her marriage certificate so I assume Martha wasn't married before either and she was illegitimate.
